The Quebe Sisters Band performed the opening set for a crowd of more than 130 at Mount Vernon Music Hall Saturday, Aug. 29. The audience cheered and clapped enthusiastically after each toe-tapping song. The performance was the first part of the association’s Music, Music, Music! gala which grossed around $12,000. The money will provide funding for the 2009-10 concert season.
