“When I Rise,” a new documentary film about Barbara Smith Conrad and overcoming prejudice will be presented to the northeast Texas community. The film will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at the James and Elizabeth Whatley Center for Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College east of Mount Pleasant.
