Details of the first half of the Mount Vernon Music organization’s 2010-2011 season were released last week. The season will begin with the Music Association’s annual Gala fund-raiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28. The  Austin Lounge Lizards and a silent auction will be featured. A variety of hors d’oeuvres, drinks and sweets will be served by members of the Key Club of Mount Vernon.  See the Aug. 12 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for a listing of the association’s fall schedule.
