Hannah Kirby will be the featured performer at noon Saturday, Sept. 4 on the downtown plaza as a part of the annual rodeo festivities. She is a junior at Sulphur Springs High School and has sung publicly since her debut in a church program at age three. She is the daughter of Richard and Nancy Kirby of Sulphur Springs. Her mother is from Mount Vernon and her grandparents are Joe and Betty Borden of Lake Cypress Springs. For more information, see the Sept. 2 edition of the Optic-Herald.
