Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Denton Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating 141 years this Sunday, Oct. 18.  The event will begin with dinner at 2 p.m. and services will start at 3 p.m. at the church on Holbrook St., Spur 423, in Mount Vernon. Special guests for the event will be Pastor Rev. Kirthell Roberts and the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church from Mount Pleasant, Tex.
