Terry Duenkel was given the award for Best of Show at the Mount Vernon Cub Scout Pack 271 lighted pumpkin trail event on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Little Creek Park. He use an oversized pumpkin with pit riddled skin for his swirl design. For more information, see the Nov. 5 edition of the Optic-Herald.
