Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Harvest House Ministries and First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon are teaming up for the fifth year to provide backpacks for 500 homeless men and women in Dallas as a part of the “Backpacks of Love” program. One backpack can be funded for $7.50, and checks should be made and mailed to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 637, Mount Vernon, Tex.,  75457.
