The deadline to purchase an Easter Ham from the Mount Vernon Volunteer Fire Department for this year is Sunday, March 28. Members of the local department are taking orders for “Easter Hams” to be picked up at the city’s fire station Saturday, April 3. The cost of the ham is $30 each.
