Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Members of the South Franklin Volunteer Fire Department served  more than 160 people at their fish fry on Saturday, May 1 at Station One in the South  Franklin Community. The organization received more than $1,250. All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase equipment for use by the fire department.
