The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce sign that greets people traveling west on Interstate 30 received some much needed attention last week.
The sign was erected on land belonging to Pat and Judy Lindley. The original location was in a low spot, making access to the sign difficult during times of maintenance. The Lindleys agreed to allow the sign to be moved forward several hundred feet to a higher elevation. The move makes maintenance easier and provides a better view of the sign from the highway.
