The Mount Vernon Music Association invites everyone to celebrate the next generation of talented musicians and artists from the northeast Texas area. This year’s Young Artist’s Showcase will feature both musical and visual artists at The Music Hall at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 23.
A dozen youthful musicians will perform during the annual Young Artist’s Showcase Concert. Performance awards will be presented at the conclusion of the concert. The winner of this year’s $1,000 scholarship will be presented to a graduating high school student who plans to pursue a degree in music.
