Cars, trucks and a tribute to Elvis Presley will be the top attractions at the K&C Harrison Car Show Saturday, June 12. The show and related activities will be centered around the square in downtown Mount Vernon.
Show day registration and check-in will be from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in front of the Harrison building at 104 Houston St., in the middle of the east side of the square. Cost of registration is $20 per vehicle. The first 100 to pre-register will receive a free T-shirt. Call 1-800-TOLD-U-SO for more information.
Solid Gold Music disc jockey Tom Pollard will bring the music of the ’50s and ’60s to the streets from 11 a.m. to noon.
James Wages, a nationally known Elvis impersonator, will perform his two hour show “Sincerely Elvis” from noon to 2 p.m. “We (Ken Cynthia Harrison) went to see him perform.
