Johnny Newsome’s summer vacation had a familiar feeling. As he was traveling through the state of Washington, he came to a town named Mount Vernon about an hour north of Seattle.
It too is the county seat, but claims more than 26,000 residents. Mr. Newsome has lots more photos and is happy to share them and tales of his adventure.
