The Mount Vernon CountryFest Car Show is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. This Friday is the deadline for vendor booth registration without a late fee.
“Everyone is encouraged to bring their vehicles for a day of display at the CountryFest in downtown Mount Vernon,” commented Tammy Cunningham, event coordinator for the sponsoring organization, the Key Club of Mount Vernon. Registration for cars and pickups in the show is $15 each. Check - in is 7-9 a.m. at the fountain parking lot, south of the plaza.
