Dixie Tabb, age four, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Posse 2009 Junior Princess, is in Children’s Medical Center in Dallas
after being kicked in the head by a horse. Miss Tabb has been unconscious since the incident on Sunday, Sept. 19. Dee Norwood, her mother, stated that Dixie tried to sit up on Tuesday, which the doctors took as a good sign. On Friday, Sept. 24, it was reported that she did have pupil response and was rubbing her eyes, but still had not regained consciousness.
