Charles Shafer will be the guest speaker for the regular meeting of the Franklin County Historical Association. The meeting and covered dish dinner will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at the Tall Tree Club House. Mr. Shafer will present a humorous look at the speech patterns of yesterday and today.
