Winners in the 71st annual Christmas parade will receive more than $1,000 in prize money from the sponsoring Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. The theme for this year’s parade is “Star Spangled Christmas.” The parade will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 4 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Breakfast with Santa will be sponsored by Our Place on the Square from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. They will serve all-you-can eat pancakes as well as coffee, milk or orange juice. Adults will be charged $6 and $4 for children 10 and under. Members of the Chamber of Commerce will take free photos as children visit with Santa. For more details, see the Nov. 25 edition
