More than $8,900 was raised for the Community Food Bank of Franklin County through the chili cook off sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Dec. 5. The team sponsored by Jon-Wayne Company took top honors in the chili competition and was awarded a $250 prize. Cooks on the team included Rodney Newsom, Joey Shelby, Pablo Gonzales, and Jasper Scott.
