The deadline to apply for food assistance in the Christmas For All program is Friday, Dec. 10. Applications are available at the Franklin County Library, NETO, Inc. and Department of Human Resources offices in Mount Vernon. At press time Tuesday, 78 families, including 136 adults and 157 children, and 10 elderly individuals have requested assistance.
