Members of the Mount Vernon Key Club and their children made a $1,000 donation to the Sports Complex construction project on Monday, Jan. 24 at the school. Danny Chitsey was on hand to accept the donation for the project. Elementary assistant principal Jennifer Sumrow was also available for the presentation. The Key Club earned the money to donate through their 5K Run and kid’s games offered at CountryFest in October 2010.
