Dr. Winston McCowan will be the featured speaker as the Black Onyx Club celebrates February as Black History Month. The event will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11 in the Cultural Arts Center. Dr. McCowan is a professor at Northeast Texas Community College, where he teaches microbiology and anatomy and pysiology.
