An emergency board meeting for the Northeast Texas Opportunities Board of Directors has been called for Thursday, March 10 at noon at the organization’s facilities at 208 Taylor St. in Mount Vernon. The Community Service Block Grant, which funds the organization’s administrative budget for all programs is being cut by 50 percent in the coming year.
