The 2011 Friends of Scouting campaign is underway in Franklin County, according to Kenneth Greer,
local campaign chairman for the Boy Scouts of America. Local adult volunteers are approaching businesses and individuals to contribute to support the Boy Scouts of America’s local district and council. For more information, see the April 14 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
