Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Citizens of the community are invited to join members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church  for a special mass. The mass will be on the grounds of the Mount Vernon City Cemetery at 9 a.m. Monday, May 30. Fa. Ambrose Chinnappa will perform the mass. This mass is to honor all deceased veterans and especially commemorate those who fell in service to their country.
