Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The Lake Country Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas will conduct a field trip to the West End Preserve in Franklin County on Saturday, June 18. Area residents are invited to join the group for the trip. Members will meet at the parking lot of Dairy Queen, located on the south service road to I-30 and west of Hwy. 37 in Mount Vernon, at 8 a.m. The attendees will carpool to the preserve on Hwy. 37, 10 miles south of Mount Vernon.
