Mission Manor Nursing Home in Mount Vernon will be the host for a Carter Blood Care blood drive from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, June 20.
The community is encouraged to donate blood at the event. Everyone that gives blood during the month of June will receive a free hot apple pie. For more information, see the June 16 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
