Vivi Jo Lester’s hair stood on end as she helped to demonstrate the characteristics of the Electroscope at the Kidz Science event on Friday, June 19. Electroscope machines were invented in 1880 by Robert Voss. More than 95 kids attended the event sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Library as a part of the Summer Enrichment Program.
