Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Savanna Maxton, age five, was a proud angler after catching a three pound six ounce bass. She caught the fish with her dad, Byron Maxton on Bill Thomas’ pond. She was using a Barbie fishing pole. She is the daughter of Byron and Kristi Maxton of Mount Vernon.
