Increased numbers of student participants and increased food and transportation fuel costs have prompted organizers of Lunches of Love to request additional funding assistance. Lunches of Love is a faith-based community supported summer meal and activity program. It is operated by volunteers, and funded by individual donations and the United Way. Donations may be made in person or mailed to First United Methodist Church, 522 Hwy 37 South, Mount Vernon, Texas 75457. Checks should be made out to Lunches of Love.
