Ed and Marilyn Joyce show a painting of the Ury home which stood near their present day home northeast of Mount Vernon. Mrs. Joyce’s mother, Dean Teague, partially restored the painting and gave it to the couple as a gift. Portions of a diary written by a resident of the home were presented as the program for the July meeting of the Franklin County Historical Association.
