Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon recently welcomed their new pastor, Dr. Jack Wallace and his wife, Marlane.
“This has been the most hospitable town we have ever been in,” Dr. Wallace said. “Everyone has been so nice and welcoming.”
Dr. Wallace has worked in the ministry since 1991 and was ordained in 1995. He has served in Methodist churches in Duncanville, Crandall, Denison, Van Alstyne, Wylie, and comes to Mount Vernon from Whitesboro.
