Members of the board of directors for the Franklin County Farm Bureau presented a $333.34 to each of the four Franklin County volunteer fire departments. The Texas Farm Bureau donated an additional $1,000 to each also for a total of $5,333.36 at the group’s annual membership dinner. More than 100 people attended the dinner conducted at the Mount Vernon High School cafeteria on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
