Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A chili cook-off will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 3 at street level on the south and west sides of the downtown Mount Vernon plaza. Bowls of chili will be available for sale to the public at a cost of $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under beginning at 11 a.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Community Food Bank of Franklin County.
