The Christmas season is here and it is time for all the boys and girls in Franklin County to be writing letters to Santa Claus for publication in the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald. All students in third grade and below should prepare a letter for Santa and have their parents turn it into the Optic-Herald office for publication in the Christmas edition Thursday, Dec. 22.
