The children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of M.P. and Noline Long gathered on Christmas Eve to celebrate 70 years of being a family.
Seventy years ago, a family was established. On December 24, 1941 M.P. Long and Noline Rutledge married in a small service at the Stevens Hotel in Mount Pleasant. Seventy years later, they are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild due in March.
