Chris Shelton of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Mount Vernon was recently promoted to sales manager for all commercial accounts at Inergy Propane. His new position is a corporate position based out of Frisco under the brand name of Independent Propane. His region will include North Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Mr. Shelton has been in the propane business for the past 25 years. He has operated with his family business, Shelton’s Propane of Mount Vernon, and had recently been a regional manager for Independent Propane.
He has served as a director for the Texas Propane Gas Association and is the past president of the Texas Propane Young Gassers of Texas.
