The Franklin County Water District’s leadership is hoping to reduce the cost of repairs to the low water pass through valves in the dam. A preliminary estimate for the repair of the two valves is $117,000, David Weidman, general manager for the district, told the board. See the July 30 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
