July was wetter than normal in 2009 with above average rainfall. Two record highs and two record lows were recorded during the month also.In July 7.81 inches of rain fell which was 4.19 inches above the average at 3.62 inches. See the Aug. 6 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
