Proposed changes to the Wood County Electric Cooperative Inc. (WCEC) Articles of Incorporation are to be decided by members at their annual meeting set for Friday Oct. 9 at Governor Jim Hogg City Park in Quitman. They will also elect directors for districts one and four to the board. All members, regardless of their district, can vote for both directors on the ballot.  See the Sept. 24 edition of the Optic-Herald for information on the proposed changes.
