Citizens are urged to “Lunch and Learn” how they can meet the City of Mount Vernon’s “10% Challenge.” The first in the series of quarterly meetings will be at noon today Thursday, Oct. 1 at the City Hall in downtown. Wesley Hooper will review the options offered at the local Brookshire’s recycling bins. Andy Trampus will address current recycling available to city residents, as well as steps being taken toward offering additional recycling opportunities.
