Six individuals were inducted into the Mount Vernon school’s League of Honor during ceremonies on Friday, Sept. 25.
Accepting the honor were front row, left to right, Charles Lowry, Judy Lindley in honor of her mother, Melba Coe Meek, Minnie Laughton Birdsong, back row, Randy Jennings in honor of his mother, Mary Nell Mince Henry Jennings, Jim Meek in honor of his father, Judge William Benton “Bill” Meek, and Judge Wayne Foster in honor of Jack D. Henry.
