The Franklin County Historical Association recently added two Geocache sites in the area. Geocaching is a modern way of hiding and seeking treasure. It is played with GPS units. There are 914,940 active caches worldwide. The Franklin County Historical Association has been the sponsor of a Geocache box since 2004.
