Voter turnout in Franklin County was extremely low for the Constitution Amendment election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.A total of 811 voters made the effort to go to the polls. Early Statewide elections returns indicated that all 11 propositions will pass. The margin by which they were approved varied greatly from 55% to more than 80%. There were 11 amendments for the Texas Constitution on the ballot. A listing of each amendment can be found on the Optic website at www.mt-vernon.com.
