Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Approximately 14 veterans attended the Veteran’s Day program at the school Wednesday afternoon. Mayor Baumgardner was the guest speaker at the event. He is joined in saluting the flag in his naval uniform by Eagle Scout Slade Rolf of Boy Scout Troup 271. The veterans attending were served refreshments in the high school library after the program.
