Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Philip Alston was named to the Dean’s List at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kans., for the fall semester with a grade point average of 3.9. He also received the Academic All-Conference award as right guard for the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2009 football season.
