Little Miss Mount Vernon Garrett Greenberg and Petite Miss Mount Vernon Suzanna Hamrick helped distribute Angel Food orders as part of their community service representing Mount Vernon in March. Orders for Angel Food for April will be taken from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, April 2,  and April 6-9, 13 and 14 at the First United Methodist Church. Orders may be placed on-line through April 14 at www.angelfoodministries.com.   The distribution date will be from 10  to 11:30 a.m.  Saturday, April 24, at the church.
The program is designed for families and senior citizens who are struggling economically, regardless of their income level. The ministry provides boxes of high quality food items at 50 to 75 percent savings
