The United Way of Franklin County is accepting applications from qualified organizations seeking funding from the local agency in 2011.
The United Way of Franklin County mailed their 2011 Allocation Request forms Monday to organizations who have made application in the past.  Organizations that did not receive an application packet by mail can get an application from the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce office.
Eight full sets of the completed application form should be returned to that office. No forms will be accepted after the 2 p.m. Monday, June 7 deadline. See the May 6 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for details on how your organization can apply.
