Libby Aden has assumed the position of Franklin County Democratic Party County Chairman. She replaces Ben Dickson, who resigned after accepting an out of county job. She was introduced to a core group of Democratic supporters at the party’s fund-raising rally Tuesday, Aug. 10 at the Community Hall at Franklin County Airport, and will be confirmed at the Sept. 28 meeting of the Texas Democratic Executive Committee.  See the Aug. 19 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information about Ms. Aden.
