The Franklin County United Way has reached 26% of their allocation’s goal for 2011 after receiving $20,800 in allocation during the last month. Allocations have been received from Mount Vernon ISD in the amount of $9,300. First National Bank allocated $4,000, Lowe’s Distribution has allocated $4,500 to date, the United Way Fish-fry raised $2,550 and they earned $450 at CountryFest Saturday, Oct. 9.
