Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Franklin County Sheriff Paul Fletcher requested an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding possible security issues. The department’s communications  system and/or procedures are the target of the investigation.
Sheriff Fletcher made the request after he became aware that certain information, thought to be secure, was known to individuals outside the department. See the Feb. 12 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
